&lt;strong&gt;State Standard Met:&lt;/strong&gt;  The Living World: Plants. This plan idea is inspired by specific science learning standards on Georgia Standards site(http://www.georgiastandards.org/)&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Topic Objective:&lt;/strong&gt; The students will show responsibility by planting and taking care of their plants. Standard: Describe how plants use water, nutrients and light to produce their own food ina  process called photosynthesis.  Compare plants grown with all of these resources with plants deprived of these resources.&lt;br&gt;
