Overview & Purpose: TSW discuss what makes them feel patriotic.

Objectives: Students will describe what makes them feel patriotic.
Materials Needed: Uncle Sam hat, U.S. flag, paper, crayons, pencils

Activity: The teacher will read the book God Bless America. The teacher will discuss different ways some of us feel patriotic. (singing patriotic songs, saying the Pledge, singing the anthem, waving flags, seeing the beautiful country we live in, etc.)

Then the student will discuss things that make them feel patriotic. Then the teach will ask for some volunteers to come wear the Uncle Sam hat and wave an American flag. The students will then write and illustrate what makes them feel patriotic.
